Where
better to start than at the Royal Horticultural Society's Chelsea
Flower Show in London. In 1991 Tim and his team designed and built
probably the most daring structure to be seen at Chelsea, a full
scale Gothic Arch Folly which framed that year's Gold Medal winning
Best Garden in Show. Redwood Stone have been ever-present at Chelsea
since that year winning RHS merits for outstanding presentation
of their own product displays, and contributing to two further
Gold Medal winning gardens and numerous award winning displays
in the marquee.
The
nineties saw the company move to The Stoneworks just outside
Wells, expand Kingfisher and Redwood Stone both in the UK and
overseas and add imported granite and terracotta to their UK
offering. The new Millenium saw the launch the Reclamation Range
of aged garden ornaments and the ground breaking Gothic Folly
which has featured prominently in many of the leading Flower Shows
throughout the world in recent years.
The
latest evolution for Redwood Stone is the opening of our new Factory
Shop and Show garden. Tim is busy
sourcing reclaimed and reproduction garden artefacts to complement
the Gothic Folly. These include old stone troughs, reclaimed teak
furniture, period stone flooring, reclaimed bricks and many more
rusting relics.
